The Faith Over Fear Tiger tee and hoodie is inspired by Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse is a reminder that true strength doesn’t come from ourselves alone, but from our faith in Christ. With this design, I wanted to bring together both my culture and my beliefs in a meaningful way. In Scripture, lions often symbolize strength, courage, authority, and even danger. In Chinese culture, the tiger carries a very similar weight. It represents power, bravery, protection, and a fearless spirit. By choosing the tiger, I wanted to reflect that shared symbolism while honoring my cultural roots.
This design serves as a reminder that even in the midst of struggle, you still carry strength within you. The design itself tells a story. At first, the tiger appears in black and white, representing hardship, pain, and the moments where life can feel heavy or uncertain. But when exposed to sunlight, the design transforms, and the color begins to emerge, revealing the tiger in full. This transition symbolizes how faith brings light into our lives, restoring strength, clarity, and hope.
The glow-in-the-dark element adds another layer of meaning: even in darkness, there is still light. Even when you can’t see it, God is present, working, and strengthening you.
